Congratulations to Emeritus Professor Douglas Heggie, a member of our School since 1975, who has been honoured by the RAS for his outstanding contributions to the field of dynamical astronomy!
The Eddington Medal goes to Emeritus Professor Douglas Heggie, of the University of Edinburgh, who said he was “surprised, delighted and extremely grateful”.

The award recognises investigations of outstanding merit in theoretical astrophysics.
