15 by-elections in Nov so far. Not one Lab or Con win. Labour hasn’t done better than third even in wards where they were the incumbent.

First successful Localist defence in a by-election since May. All the others were wiped out.

A rare Reform-free by-election these days.

LD gain - 2 ward seat and while LD topped seat in locals, this was the Lab seat being defended…

Localists are being wiped out by Reform as they hoover up the NOTA votes.

Green and Reform defences are flakier than I would have expected. Likely the NOTA block is less enthused when you are already the incumbent?

Lib Dems unusually strong.

Tories for an opposition party look terminal. Woeful.

And the Rural/Local government Green vote is basically the same voting bloc the Lib Dem vote too - but in seats where either the Libs are not trying or the Greens had the best candidate/ground campaign.

Yes - honours even so far between them. 1 gain each from the other so far…

But both are hoovering up NOTA voter block.

North East Hampshire was once as blue as it got. The Oranges have taken up a lot of True Blue territory recently.
