I attended the SCAPE Conference for the first time. The atmosphere and the spirit were wonderful! It was inspiring to be surrounded by researchers who share the same passion for pollinators.
I finally met my SEPPI project colleagues in person after many online meetings. Hope to meet again next year!

I just visited a fascinating #DNA exhibition and learned something unexpected: Neanderthal genes can influence whether you're an early bird!
Some of our inherited Neanderthal DNA is linked to circadian rhythms and a tendency to wake up early.
As Richard Dawkins said: “Genes control everything.” :D

I recently visited beautiful Finland 🇫🇮 and was amazed to learn that the country has around 200,000 islands!

Suddenly, Ilkka Hanski’s metapopulation theory makes even more sense. 🌿🦋
