Ahh, Russian trolls have already infested BlueSky.

I should mention that my Ukrainian friend is ethnically Russian and not fully fluent in Ukrainian. This is mildly inconvenient, but hardly "genocide." Many Russians are dying on both sides of Putin's senseless war.

Things will get worse before they get better. For now, I want to focus on building community and sharing perspectives.

I have friends from Ukraine and Georgia who know firsthand the damage from surrendering to Putin.

So many people in my community are sheltered from solid information. Even when the damage comes to our door, they will trust party propaganda to shift the blame.
