What other applications? Are we talking about risky levels or dangerous levels? There is a difference. You give a mouse enough of anything and they will develop some kind of illness. Small amounts though are not significant to health.

This is just one study. There are multiple large, independent reviews and one very big cohort study that have not found evidence of cancer risk from typical glyphosate exposure.
