I went to a restaurants goodbye event today and felt so much emotion. I kept it together and let the owner know I’d continue to support any endeavor that comes next, but I felt like crying the whole time.

It’s hard seeing something great come to an end, but I’m glad she got to see it happen at all.

I put on my AirPods in the airport and when the noise cancelling kicked in it was so peaceful.

And then they connected to my husband’s phone and my silence was abruptly replaced with an excited soccer announcer.

I was gifted this Lego orchid for Christmas and it was so much fun to build.

I haven’t played with legos since I was a kid and I totally get why adults get super into it.

That moment of panic when you start working on a task after the “ten minutes ‘til your meeting alert” and think you’re late only to realize you still have time, but not enough to start another task and risk distraction.

48 hours after my MIL returned home our house is already back to its cluttered natural state, but at least it’s festive with all the adorable decorations she put up for us. 🎄

The saints that are my In-laws flew all the way from Ohio to California to babysit our dog- their grandpup- for two weeks while we were out of the country.

Not only did they literally fly out to babysit our dog but they also left the house cleaner when they arrived and fixed our sink.
