Elephant Trunk Nebula🐘
The Elephant Trunk Nebula is part of a larger emission nebula called IC 1396, a vast region of glowing gas that spans about 3 degrees across the sky.
It's located in the constellation Cepheus, about 2,400 light-years from Earth.

The Embryo Nebula, I captured this quite a while ago now with a modified DSLR and a small refractor. I would love to have another go at this target when I get back up and running, capturing photons again. Such a cool star forming region, with lots of faint dust.

The Aurora above my garden in October last year, an extremely rare sight in Suffolk, UK!
The first time I had ever seen them with my own eyes. I was jumping around my garden with excitement, wildly taking pictures. Hehe.

Rosette Nebula 🌹
The Rosette Nebula's core has many cool dark structures and colours from the ionised gases and dust.
Captured with a Canon 60D DSLR and a small telescope from my back garden in the UK.
