Now the Trump Tariffs are no longer paid by some other country, and we are not supposed to shift them to consumers (to hide them from "public".) They are supposed to be a Tax on US Businesses now. Sort of funny. Huge tax cuts are being designed for business and the rich to help pay for Tariffs?

If Ukraine is pushed to "cede" Crimea, and there is not sufficient support from Allies to support retaking it, it may be possible to provide a long term lease on the territory. Similar to other disputed properties internationally. But a negotiation to have.

We tried making phones in Texas. The local machine shop could make 1000 itty bitty screws a week for them. You can buy 1000 glasses screws from china for 10 dollars. The cost of gas for the truck to get the screws exceeds the cost.

Social Security. First, stop counting this highly regressive payroll tax as "income" on the government IRS tax forms. Its a loan. Maybe if we showed the balance and the debt correctly it would be harder for Republicans to get confused about the math.

Someone with business savvy could make a small bundle printing up small Tesla cover up emblems. A small fake car emblem they could stick over the dagger "T".

In 1992 Clinton assigned Gore to lead a team of 250 civil servants to reduce the cost and size of government without damaging it. No chaos. No wanton destruction or political retribution. Most people didn’t notice. The budget was balanced. Regulations were cut in half. It can be done.
