The final book in my colour trilogy has been printed in Estonia.
A small thing perhaps but this pleases me. The previous book in the series, Red Sands, could not be printed in China as I spoke out about the persecution of the Uyghurs...

I love salt too.
For you, Armenian salt ladies (cellars). Always female in form, often brightly painted or else left as unglazed terracotta... very interesting history. Their story features in forthcoming Green Mountains : )

Oksana Maksymchuk, who read from Still City, and to the legendary Sasha Dugdale who read from her recent book The Strong Box.
