Ah misunderstood what you were saying in the post. Is that actually a real guarantee they do? I thought that shoes for life thing was just a saying, realised I’ve wasted a lot of money on replacements now

You tried a pair from Solovair? I got some last year and they’re doing much better comparatively, only a tiny bit more expensive but made in UK

Yeah that’s true tbf, though nice to see the best De La Soul album in there instead of Three Feet High, also like the Juvenile is a classic but don’t normally see it anywhere like top 3 which was cool to see

And, I mean come on, a classic boom bap record still takes the number one spot, hardly sacrilegious

A lot of the people complaining about the list take number placements a little too seriously, and are mainly interested in seeing a pre established cannon reaffirmed.

And agree with your point about Definitely Maybe, had it in my head as a general truism that, well, at least the first one is good. Listening back a good deal of that is pretty plodding, beyond a few decent tunes

And they continue to represent that, with Noel on stage chatting shite about “left wing lesbian atheists”, every time I hear them do have to agree with Neil Kulkarni that they represent the most stodgy and sexless kind of rock music
