Are you allergic to fun? No? Good then get your butt out to the Literary Cabaret on Feb. 15 in Hamilton to watch me go full country crooner with all the other cool literary kids!! It’s going to be a great time
The literary cabaret Jamie writes about here will feature 100% more guitar solos, tarot readings, craft making, and awkward dancing than your average book event. (And zero readings.)

It seems dumb to keep working when the world is basically an exploding butthole.

I’m desperately trying to prioritize my own writing this year but it’s been a serious struggle.

Currently at a cafe trying to unpack the mother wound via a fictional encounter with a prehistoric shark… wish me luck! #isthiswhatbeinganauthoris

Been having a really rough couple days and then a young woman working the drive thru window says, “You’re really pretty, you know.” 🥹

It’s the small inconsequential things we do for other humans that will make the future we’re facing a lot less scary.

I always thought being single at 40 after divorce would be like Stella Getting Her Groove Back, instead it’s grocery store sushi on Saturday night with $18 wine, binge watching Shrinking 🤔 Take from that what you will 🙏🏼

I want to print it out and pin it to my wall like a love sick teenager. All hail Rebecca Shaw

Can someone in film production explain why the confessionals on #traitorsS3 are edited to make everyone’s pupils look like they’re given meth in their goodie bags?? 😂 It’s alarming and @alancumming.bsky.social deserves better

This but do so at 4:55 and then when they reply at 5:02 be personally offended that someone would try to contact you outside business hours. How rude 🙄
The secret is to put off answering your emails until Friday afternoon, and then say to yourself, "No one will check until Monday so I may as well leave this until then," and then repeat forever until the emails all die a quiet, respectable death.

So how do we find our people over here? The real creative weirdos, that’s what I’m looking for 🤪
