Lemon meringue macarons.
Shells aren't quite as shiny as I'd have liked, but the taste is incredible! The lemon curd is bright and silky and the meringue is fluffy and sweet. All in all, I'd call it a success!

Finished my first hexi-cardigan, which I've dubbed Obnoxiously Pink™. I took elements from two patterns & then added a few things of my own (pockets & ribbing). Doesn't photo great, but it's actually rather adorable on. Consider me proud.

Love the texture of this piece. I still may add a small faux fur row to the top, but I'm definitely gonna make the matching leg warmers first.

I just described my first batch of apple cinnamon focaccia as "pretty much me."
I said that it's "kind of lumpy, not very pretty, I won't be taking it to anybody's parents' house, but it's still sweet and deserves to be eaten." 😆

Nerd me is excited that I got my first long term project at work today. Not only do I get to get certified and learn something, this is the first time I get something of my own, not just learning/doing established processes.
