The UAE already owns Canadian assets worth billions of dollars and it seems no one has noticed. I think we'll be fine. Would I like to see Canadians owning Canadian assets? Yes. But find me ppl or corporations who can invest the billions of dollars needed.

Human-rights concerns? Fair. Selective outrage? Not so much. Hard to take the complaints seriously when the same people complain about no deal with Trump while ignoring America’s war crimes and human-rights abuses.

Do these groups not qualify as 'families'? I'm disabled. I'm certainly part of a family. My parents are seniors. They are certainly part of a family. Therefore, we're included in his statement of 'prosperity for Canadian families' are we not? Or do our statuses preclude us from being a family?
