I'm disappointed that past Prexys and family showed at all for the wake formerly known as inauguration. It sends a message of normality. Things ain't normal. Don't send that message. (God bless you, Michelle O, for staying away.)

Yes. It's unconstitutional. That doesn't mean Trump won't get his way. It means the stakes are very high. Trump is "aiming for the stars" right out of the gate. A win here cements his authority as absolute.

Mike Pence should listen to his "mother." They should have stayed home, but he came for the re-ascension of the guy who urged his hanging. It screams, "That's OK what he did." And it lets Trump know there's no limit to the abuse Mike will take from him.

Move the inauguration ceremony indoors? O, poop, I was hoping for a William Henry Harrison repeat.

Overkill? Shipley was shy of overkill? To quote JoJo: Are you f'g kidding me? In a time when Republicans lie over and over and over and over? A three-bullet response to their fusillade is overkill?

And what is Garland's peril in doing so? Can Cannon hold Garland in contempt for ignoring/violating her court order? I don't think Judge Cannon has standing to sue the AG/US Gov't.
