Of course, blame Geoff for his decision to put the game out there when it clearly did not need to be shown off in that regard. Rant over.

I will clarify that this is not me protecting the game, just me protecting the people who made it. If you need someone to blame, blame the studio head for saying player numbers don’t matter. Blame the gaming journalists for calling any person giving actual criticism a hater and a right wing grifter.

All of this to say, I’m unfortunately seeing a lot of blame put unfairly on the game devs for making the game, which is just nonsensical. These people did their best to make the game. The least we can do is respect that they worked hard.

To top things off, Geoff then decides it would be a good idea to taunt gamers by claiming it would be a success. Which add more fuel to the fire. It’s almost like Geoff wanted this game to die or something lol.

Now with the massive spotlight, the game studio was destined to fail from the start. If Geoff didn’t play favorites, perhaps the game could’ve survived another few months before dying. Or maybe they would of made changes necessary to keep the game alive.

Because of his favoritism, he put a massive spotlight on the game and studio by making it the last game showcased in TGA. Which is usually reserved for games that actually merits that massive spotlight.

I talked about this with a friend of mine, and we both came to the realization that the major reason why this game failed was because of Geoff Keighley.

I agree. POE 2 will be the more exciting update out of the two.

I have to agree that the game is solid. Even better than solid. It feels fun. As for my build, I’m running spellblade with an emphasis on fire attacks (flame reave has been my savior). I’m going in blind since this is my first time playing LE.

That’s awesome. I barely started playing this season. Reason was that I used to love Path of Exile 2. I still do, but this recent update really kicked my ass and I wanted a break. This game was being hyped by a lot of the POE 2 streamers and I bought into it. I’m glad I did.
