You haven’t noticed your heroes lining up to throw trans people under the bus?

Bah, far easier to just tack ever rightward in search of donors, forever widening the percentage of their base to whom their only possible appeal is “vote for us or else.”

People can flourish in beautiful & miraculous ways under the heat lamp of a campaign of honest, creative, unrelenting positive regard. It's not about flattery. It's about the hard, vulnerable work of seeing each other & giving love out we might not see back. But it has to be real.
