I have that exact model of steam deck it is an excellent indie game machine for me. It can also do some decent AAA gaming if you play older AAA games or newer more optimized AAA games. You wont be able the play games with windows anti cheat is the only thing.

You do realize that the S2 is upscaling from a 800p resolution right? The S2 can't even do 1080p 60hz in most games forget 1440p 60hz. What have you been smoking?

You can get some Steam deck power on animations/intros. You can also get new Steam deck keyboards with them. But yeah only cosmetic things unfortunately.

If you get a Steam deck definitely get an Oled version over the LCD. It has an Oled, 90hz HDR display with better battery life, faster wifi connectivity and it is a tiny bit more powerful. Almost all indie games will hit 90hz on that oled panel. They come with more internal storage than the LCD too.

That is the power of good games.

I sold my switch lite, bought a Steam deck oled. I have been avoiding the switch 2 and will continue to do so. PC gaming is far better imo.

Yeah the verified system is not reliable. I installed proton db on my deck to truly get a sense of how playable a game is.
