Never attribute to malice and intent that can be more justified as being mind-numbing stupidity. But yeah, this is becoming the bellweather for figuring out the limits the public will deal with before taking to the streets.

Gonna break with you on this one. What the GOP is doing is a concerted effort to essentially strip the entire government down for parts and legitimize this oligarchy class. One way or the other, the common folk are probably in for an all out general strike and revolution. Fast track it.

It's less about the courts failing and way more about how the courts have been packed full of ideologues or sycophants. If the administration doesn't follow the law, then it's arguable that there is no law to be followed. When they declare there is no law, it's going to be about numbers.
