The Stirrings by Catherine Taylor was an absorbing read, great evocation of the 70s/80s, lots of book references and even a cameo from Jarvis Cocker.

What a find the first edition of A Month in the Country is! I discovered that book through the first episode of the podcast, it is now one of my favourites (and love the podcast).
