If you think you're special because you have documentation or live in NJ you are wrong. After all, LA is one of the bluest cities in the US and we are next to one of the largest, bluest cities in the world, the Immigration Capital of the US. So for all that is good, protest, and ELIMINATE ICE.

Fascism isn't coming, it's here. Military force is being used to control a city and Democrats remain complacent. The majority of my audience/peers are in Bergen County/New Jersey. Most of the people I know are related to, know, or are immigrants.

The press is being attacked and mainstream media still refuses to cover the situation properly. These are human beings advocating for the livelihood of other human beings. The goal of this administration is to divide us and scare us and the people you love WILL be hurt if they haven't already

I have expressed this many times, and I hope that people will understand and share my motivation, but I am not from Dumont, but I still encouraged those who could to come, Not just to fight for Dumont, but to fight for a future threat that they themselves could face and expect the same solidarity.

we were able to organize and show the council that people are willing to fight. That is insane. I spoke to Councilwoman Petry, and she has shared her commitment to pro-LGBTQ+ causes in Dumont, and I'm hoping that the people of Dumont will be willing to share those fruits.

I'm incredibly grateful for those who spoke up. You guys don't understand the shock I was in when I walked into that room and saw 150 people squeezed together (mostly) all of them with the intent to block this ordinance. In such a short amount of time,
