For those interested, save April 5 to march and rally for America. Nationwide protests.

This is eerily reminiscent of the Nazi’s, who began punishing people for helping ‘undesirables’ in 1933.

“The experience also exposed a mistake that many of us make. I’d glued my dignity to my occupation, and it was a struggle to pry them apart”

I was honored to be asked to screen #BOATLIFT and speak at #NCSS2024. Meeting some of the more than 5000 social studies teachers who gathered in Boston for this 104th annual event was humbling, to say the least!

Filmmaking seems downright easy compared to what these folks are tasked with.

@hcrichardson.bsky.social’s keynote at the 104th #NCSS made me feel hope again. The gist: Those who wish to dominate have always done what they can to disinform but those who choose freedom and equality have always overcome. The truth & education are too strong…Heather is such a gem.

As they say, if you’re not the consumer, you’re the product. I’m so sick of the oligarchs treating my eyeballs as their domain in their ‘free’ apps. I’m not for sale and neither is my vote. Hoping that Bluesky is better? We’ll see!
