imo it’s embarrassing to not have Hall effect in a first party product
They add virtually 0 overhead. They are cheap, plug and play and will outlast a trad joystick 100\100 times. They are just too lazy/late to develop their own implementation so we will have a new update of dead Joycons in 2025
