IMO Mason is very poor. Never seems to ask the important questions and like so many BBC political reporters seems far more interested in Westminster gossip and personalities than challenging on policy.

So the argument is that no matter how appalling someone in power might be, 50% of the media should always agree with it? I mean, why not go for 100%? Seems to work well in Russia and N Korea.
