I’m from the uk and have a head that looks like a bun.
I’m calling it now, #ai has killed tl;dr - no point writing a summary of a blog post when the #openai does it for you in a way you’d like to hear it

Adventures in #msfabric - on a mac to copy a single cell from the sql endpoint output you need control + c not cmd + c - then paste is obviously cmd + v 😂😂😂

No idea when #MSSQL added GENERATE_SERIES but blimey it is beautiful. Could have done with this twenty years ago 😂

Something has happened to the Spotify “Discover Weekly” in the last few months to make it basically unusable - I used to really look forward to what I was going to get on a Monday morning, now I just get disappointed and listen to something else. This is a real shame.

@microsoft.com ai in notepad? You’ve lost it, completely lost it. Best option? No ai, next best option? “Settings —> AI Features —> Rewrite —> Off” should absolutely be the default. You are pushing away users with this nonsense. If I want AI to rewrite some text I’ll ask Claude or Grammarly.

The problem with #msfabric is basic functionality doesn’t work - want to see the output from a cell in a notebook run by a pipeline? No not this one, other ones work.

If you still use ErikEJ.EntityFramework.SqlServer for a modern SQL Server client for EF 6 Classic, it is time to switch to the official package!

The single best data engineering tool in azure (written by Microsoft) by a large margin is ADF pipelines (not dataflows 🤮) which they created by accident (they didn’t expect us to use it how we did). Everything else is a poor copy of something better. Microsoft PLEASE be more innovative.
