My response in a recent interview to “if you had a magic wand” what would you do? “Pass an income tax”!

This is unbelievable. So now the US can drop off someone wherever they want? To a wartorn country where the US advises travelers not to go!!

This chart sums up how it hurts folks at the bottom (largely through cuts to benefits) and is a tax giveaway to those at the top.

Also, the donation to Bruce was back in January.

Fwiw, I basically gave $10 early on to most people participating in democracy vouchers, including Katie Wilson, Joe Molloy, Ry Armstrong, Alexis Rinck, Dionne Foster, Erika Evans, Nathan Rouse and Rory O’Sullivan.

Some of the donations are under Eddie Lin and some under Edward Lin.

This is completely unacceptable. It’s a bit shocking this issue hasn’t made bigger news sooner. We need to figure out transmission lines and interconnections or our energy grid and climate goals are in big trouble.

Maybe he should play more golf where he can do less damage to our economy and country?

Picture of a Tesla protest from Seattle made it into NYT today. I see some familiar faces. @robertcruickshank.com @troublemakers.bsky.social

Love seeing the progress being made on El Centro’s Four Amigos project in Columbia City. It will have 87 units of affordable housing, with 47 of them being family-sized 2 and 3-bedroom units. There is also a dual-language child development center and a local community church in the development.

Spent a wonderful evening at the Aurora Commons celebration last night. They are literally saving lives by building community and seeing the humanity in all our neighbors.

Felt good joining folks at the #TeslaTakedown protest in South Lake Union this morning. Chatted with people from West Seattle, Ballard and even Bainbridge Island! Resistance is growing! No Kings!

Great event - celebrating Toshiko Hasegawa’s Port Commissioner reelection campaign kickoff. Some powerful speeches and so many inspiring community leaders.

We have an upside-down tax code in WA where we tax the poor 3.5X more than the 1%. It’s immoral and bad public policy. We can’t fund basic services on the backs of the poor and working/middle classes. It’s not radical nor surprising that the public is ready for us to fix this.
