I knew you as an author first, found you on the Other Site when I joined and was searching for my fave authors, then signed up for Whatever when you talked about it. I looked for you here when I finally got a code.

Agree - I'd add the Best Home Court Advantage in Basketball and last game before All Star Break vibes too. Hope the guys enjoy their time off.

Thanks for staying up. Great to hear from someone who watches the games, appreciates Davis' value, and has followed LeBron's career closely. Looking forward to your follow up articles and posts.

Rob in the lab: ball handling guard that can run the offense plus a spacing big - check and check.

My then 6 year old daughter melted down after dinner at Coco's while holding a stuffie she won *before* dinner. I banned claw machines until she was 14. She's 18 now, and it's the best parenting decision I've made so far.

Good point. Without the secondary creator, Austin or Bron are playing against a defense tilted just against them. A few empty possessions on the Lakers side and three 3 point makes on the opponent's side - because everyone gets up for the Lakers - then hope is back and it's a ball game again.

I'm on board with the theory about muscle memory and expected-vs-actual advantage created. Would explain why those turnovers look so careless and lackadaisical in real time. Great insight, as always.

Thanks for the reminder. I tried pre-ordering when you first announced but I was waaay too early, lol. Just locked it in, looking forward to the run.

I use my Garmin as a general bike computer (speedometer, distance traveled, etc.) so the tracking is just a side thing. I upload to RideWithGPS and periodically peek at how far I've gone. I also use it to build then share routes. I don't use any of the social features.
