This is fantastic news and such positive environmental action. The Woodland Trust donate tree packs for small, medium and large planting projects if you have a bit of land that would benefit. We’ve planted 200 on our site at Astrea Woodfields.

It looks pretty amazing! We’ve followed the @nigella.bsky.social cola ham recipe and my goodness does it look impressive.

And we’re done! 200 trees planted at Astrea Woodfields. A sapling absorbs approx 10kg of CO2 per year which makes 2 metric tonnes absorbed per year!

Sometimes these are the fun projects to be involved in at school! 200 native trees from The Woodland Trust are being planted by our gardening club at Astrea Woodfields.
