I’ve debated people who argue that Socialism (or communism) is bad, citing Stalin as proof. Now I argue that Democracy can be bad, citing Trump and Netanyahu as “proof”.

So, people on the political left stopped buying Tesla electric cars, thus causing Elon Musk's business to suffer. In response, Trump and right-wing talking heads on TV convinced conservatives to buy Tesla electric cars.
Conservatives are driving electric cars. That's a win, right?

The crowds attending the Bernie Sanders and AOC “town hall rallies” are huge - tens of thousands of people. The talking heads on Sunday morning TV are on the verge of saying that Sanders and AOC are the new leaders of the Democratic Party.

Many people I know grew up in the Cold War era. They fear anything sounding like socialism. When we play friendly games, my new strategy is cutthroat competition. When they complain, I say, "You want to play a socialist game? We're friggin capitalists."
I'm hoping to get a message across. 😏

People are just now realizing that billionaires own their news media. The talking heads on the TV "news" shows are not free to report the news. The owners of the company restrict them.

I've now heard from three sources that over one million Israelis have left Israel since October 7 because it's become too dangerous. This is a larger number than that reported by the press. One of those sources is Colonel Lawrence Wilkerson, the Chief of Staff for Secretary of State Colin Powell.

I’m watching Washington Journal on C-SPAN. The conservative callers are convinced that the driver of the truck in the New Orleans attack is an immigrant and Donald Trump will fix it. The host of the show has said numerous times that he was born in the U.S. and was a citizen, but they ignore him.
