The Paris Olympic road races purely for the once in a lifetime (I hope it isn't) course through the city which had climbing sections worthy of Flandrian classics and the crowd atmosphere as well

The closest I got to a pro race this year was sharing the Velodrome in Bordeaux with the Aussie para cycling team pre Olympics. A C2 guy with just one leg was absolutely ripping up the boards
