2. The problem is people walking inquisitive dogs. They may be far away when they enter the beach, but they take forever approaching, and even when past are likely to look around at any moment.
A dip would be much more enjoyable if nudity was normalised and skinny dipping here was legal.

1. A week of good morning tides at my beach, so a skinny dip each day, with speedos around the wrist.
In my mind the biggest problem in having a discreet dip where you can completely ditch the speedos and enter/ leave the water naked is not that people have tracks to the beach about every 30 metres.

International skinny dip day 2025, but it’s school holidays so there are too many over-dressed people on the beach, and tidal conditions made swimming impossible anyway. Snuck in this quick pic when the people were further away.

Looked like I had the beach to myself, so I started a naked wander. Put the speedos back on as I approached a public beach entry, and had a dog walker appear almost immediately. Backtracked until I was well away them recommenced the naked walk. Tide too low to dip. #FullFrontalFriday #normalnudity

21/03/25 high tide was too shallow for a skinny dip, and despite it being Autumn at 1.30pm it was still too hot to stay out for long. Managed to get a couple of shots for #FullFrontalFriday whilst other beach goers were walking the other way. #normalisenudity #normalisenudity

My usual spot to catch the sun in the sand dune copped the brunt of today’s very high tide combined with the effects of Cyclone Alfred. A metre of dune washed away this morning, more likely tomorrow as the cyclone comes closer. Video is from an hour before high tide. Will have to find a new spot.

My usual spot to catch the sun in the sand dune copped the brunt of today’s very high tide combined with the effects of Cyclone Alfred. A metre of dune washed away this morning, more likely tomorrow as the cyclone comes closer. Video is from an hour before high tide. Will have to find a new spot.
Another Summer is almost over without ending up with an all over tan. Despite the high tide leaving no beach, a tourist family with dogs turned up to walk the beach, staying half an hour, limiting my nude time. Water is refreshingly cool. #FullFrontalFriday #NormaliseNudity

#FullFrontalFriday school Summer holidays are over, so quiet times on the beach are now more predictable. After a few storms the beach is eroding, debris is scattered, and my usual spot in the dunes is becoming more exposed.

Today’s complaint made on the community fb page was about a nude man on the beach (wasn’t me). Reply # more than average - lots horrified; lots (jokingly?) dobbing in blokes; some saying it’s a guy in a g-string, a couple saying what’s wrong with it. Pity g-string guy has a rep for perving on women.

#FullFrontalFriday 3/01/25 Summer break here, so quite a few visitors in the area who are not as predictable as residents, so no chance to skinny dip (water murky after rain anyway) and just a short time in the dune, with a quick dash out of the tree line to take the photo.

The perils of skinny dipping in the sub-tropics. Beautiful looking conditions today, no-one within kilometres on the beach, but I cut my dip short after my dickhead got stung. I’ve followed advised treatment, and an hour later the blistering has reduced but a slight stinging is still there.
