really rough sketch base colors- changed the background to be darker so i can better work with the values clipped each layer after painting and shading- the hair, skin, and clothing each having their own- so that it wouldn't be a huge mess Created a new file for editing the image! After combining all visible layers I duplicated the combined result, applied Gaussian blur to smooth out the rough edges caused by the selection tool, and used the airbrush tool to erase the area within the blurred layer to get a sort of out of focus, softer effect on the edges. Then I doodled the sun and clouds on top.
