Very sad that another awesome person is leaving this state but I absolutely understand and am over-the-moon happy you’re getting out of this fucked place and escaping somewhere you’ll hopefully be safer and more supported.

Thankfully Hopkins isn’t up here at least last I heard. Going in to renew my security badge is going to be harrowing enough without the uncontrollable rage that piece of shit would send me into.

Y’all cannot do this on a weeknight. I don’t know that I can explain to my wife that I did indeed call off from my night job to watch people play a text-based wrestling booking simulator. And the mockery from my children will be gotdamned relentless.

Then Democrats need to behave as if all bets are off. Democrats need to show that they recognize this moment for what it is and are prepared to do something about it. They need to be leaders. Call for people to take immediate and drastic action. Work stoppages, protests, etc.

I don’t think there’s a punishment that could be inflicted on these pieces of shit that would come close to achieving actual justice, but we for-goddamn-sure need to try.

Yeah I’m not sorry that I’m not willing to subject my mixed-race children to the same right-wing bullshit that I argued about with my family for years before I gave up on them. For people who despise “entitlement” so much they sure seem unwilling to work for what they claim they want.

Yeah the very real possibility that the motherfucker might actually die from the thing he and his followers had sworn for months was “no big deal” was unlike most singular Big Moments I can think of in my lifetime. This doesn’t have that juice until these dweebs start trying to throw punches.

Oh this is 6 million percent for shitty dudes who don’t want to have to worry about pesky things like consent or boundaries or having to interact with another real person.

We’re definitely going to have to try that next time we have problems. Fortunately we live in a part of OH that is absolutely lousy with pharmacies so we’ve been lucky and haven’t had to go without for any extended period of time. I feel awful for folks that are going weeks or even longer.

Yeah every month my wife and I have to call around to several pharmacies to try and find who has stock of our medication and then immediately call our doc and cross our fingers that they get the order to the right pharmacy in time or else we have to start over. It’s basically my third job.

I was going to try and find the excellent in-ear thermometer we’ve been able to rely on with both of our kids, but I asked my wife where it’s available and she informed me she “procured it” from the doctor’s office her mom works at. Apparently they’re the only place to get good ones.
