So do us Canadians. We felt for you guys from the beginning. We knew you were fighting for our freedom as well. The propaganda that has taken over since then is unconscionable. Now every Canadian is fearing that America is going to turn us into Ukraine. None of this was or is necessary. SlavaUkraini

It's so nauseating what the reaction would be if it was a democratic during Biden s term.

The problem with these people is they have never tried to self custody Bitcoin. Once you try it you will see the advantages of it. Until then you are just repeating nonsense FUD.

Also you can pay bills with Bitcoin. In Canada we can use a service like Bull Bitcoin to pay any bill, credit card, or even taxes. This is convenient for long term holders that no longer have fiat currency as income.

Technically you can use it for expenses like groceries. Is it convenient or the best option... No. Is it the best option for long term savings if you don't trust your bank or government... YES!

The original point though about protecting your money from a currency collapse or a newly elected authoritarian government, Bitcoin is the clear solution to this problem. It was literally designed for such cases.

Yes, Bitcoin mining can help an energy grid if used responsibly and in alignment with local energy demand. It can also be abused if people are stealing electricity.

The original point is that people want to take their IRA and savings out of US in case Trump effs everything up. So... You can easily do this with Bitcoin. I'm not talking about El Salvador or buying groceries. It's a way to protect your savings from confiscation. Nobody can take it from you.
