House R's did it. They put a Debt Limit instruction in their budget. for $4T. Even if this passes they can put the debt limit bill as separate and stand alone.

If democrats want to cause republicans pain in the tax bill process they need more arguments than distributional tables. That the tax cuts create huge growing debt and inflation might actually draw blood.

The CR successfully wipes the Stat PAYGO score card. This has been a longstanding issue where prior year balances rolled forward, creating a larger and larger budgetary "Sword of Damocles."

Republican Senators want to do everything they can in reconciliation. The bigger a bill is the harder it falls... Especially when you have to rely on a 2-4 vote House....
