I took my parents to the free ship tours for Seattle's Fleet week. I think my dad will talk about it for several days. They took us through the ships and even had equipment demo at some points. Dad is former army but he loves talking shop with the sailors.

Our newest adoptee got out as I was loading the car for her vet appointment.
I realized she wasn't in the house. I'm screaming her name, and I open the front door to go running around the neighborhood, and here she comes walking down the sidewalk towards the house like she was getting the mail.

Yes! All the time! I think that trip unofficially started my goal of visiting all the CA parks. I've now been to all but Oakland (mainly because it was rundown). We did SF two years ago and it was awesome. Dave got his hat signed!
