I literally saw your post & went to vote. One of the volunteers said they've been a lot busier than expected, then called me kiddo while handing me a sticker 😐

I still find mentorship but it's more collaborative. There are folks I learn from with an understanding I might take us off their standard trail for a bit. It takes a lot of trust & communication. Sometimes I have to go back & explore by myself on my own time

most grey beards I know that converted to using AI started out trying to show it was trash & changed their mind. It's also deeply embedded in tech & across society now.

the environmental impact is concerning. Crypto eventually prompted cleaner compute, maybe AI can do the same. AI can create & advance careers if we're mindful. I'm having trouble making sense of paying $1k/month for AI per developer no matter where the money is going or what it's being used for
