🎉 We had a quick count up we've had 125 people certified Carbon Literate thanks to the Carbon Literacy training we provided this year 🍾

#Travel is evolving. In 2025 we predict more holiday-makers will:

👉 travel more by 🚆 or electric 🚘
👉 choose to travel in cooler months 🥵
👉 be more likely to choose 'eco' destinations (accommodation, resorts etc) 🌱

❓ Have you heard of district heating?

👉 They supply heat to large areas of cities via a network of underground pipes carrying hot water.

✅ They avoid the need for individual gas / oil boilers or electric heaters can drastically reduce emissions.

This news isn't a reason not to take climate action. Every tenth of a degree counts so companies: make that low carbon travel policy, move your banking and pensions & switch to renewables.
Climate data from @copernicusecmwf.bsky.social shows, it is virtual certainty that 2024 will be the warmest year on record and the first calendar year above 1.5°C.
This does not mean the Paris Agreement has been breached, it means ambitious #climateaction is more urgent than ever
