Put a two foot extension on Bobbys column and stop the vandalism. Not sure luck featured much in Humes philosophy either

Opposite Gayfield police station some of the police will buy food in Elm Row so maybe they could point the law to drivers?

We have serious accidents all over, nothing gets done. I use Colinton Road and have similar worries what level of death and injury is acceptable to our representatives? ( Not bosses or leaders) Our representatives or car fans?

As ever when you knock SNP policies figures for Scotland better than England. Yes they are getting worse but they are higher because overall less investment from Westminster in NHS. Tax the rich, cut the benefits that banks get and equalise tax on income and dividends. www.ons.gov.uk/peoplepopula...

My road has 20mph limit, speed bumps, parked cars creating chicane. I measured a car doing 40 today, timed it travelling over three lamposts distance, rough but seems a good indicator. The driver did “wave” at me, at least I think a wave.!

Do councillors / MPs represent the people that vote them in or do they feel they are now leaders and we do their accord not vice versa? Similarly to share holders ever absorb a loss or must they always receive a dividend?

The feasibility plan for the next tram line could pay for a large number of low traffic schemes allowing a fast bus link instead of trams.

If grid connections are slow to establish through construction, land purchase, permissions etc. would battery farms at each windfarm be easier and make more efficient and economic use of the generators?

It has been said that rather than run from North Edinburgh to the ERI just build a new hospital at Crewe Toll, it’s cheaper.

Make all on street parking paid, residents permits or ticket machines. How much money would that bring in, how many drivers would find other ways to travel. Implement workplace parking tarriffs. Ditto.

No such route if you enjoy it, discovery of the city and environment is easy on a bike

Most are, if only somebody could do something.

Looking forward to the main North South corridor for bikes on one of Edinburghs steepest hills! Council really dislike anyone but cars, losing votes with every decision.

Lets set up a public consultation ….
October 1, 2025 at 10:08 AM
Just for once the council could openly defy the car lobby and see how much community support would emerge. So much demand from the public but cars win most of the time.

Last week some sport event, previous week an accident on the bypass. I am in Craiglockhart and used as a ratrun continually

Every Sunday for the last three weeks and simple modal filters would give residents peace. Why do transiting vehicles, often not “rate payers” get priority. Like all the students parking on Colinton Road. Charge for on street parking across Edinburgh and give the city some financial security.
