My therapist tells me there are people in this world who will have a conversation without sex being involved. Apparently I'm more messed up than I realized.. #traumabond #trauma #therapy #mytherapistsays

Seriously! Glennon! You are going to wreck me with this book aren't you...? Lol... "Feeling all your feelings is hard, but that's what they are for. Feelings are for feeling. All of them." #healing #glennondoyle #selfhelp #untamed #feelings #awakening #detox

Untamed by Glennon Doyle... What a huge realization. Time to get sober and stop numbing out to avoid the parts of me others told me were too big, too loud, too much. #glennondoyle #selfhelp #healingjourney #addiction #reading #books #realization #awakening

Anyone have experience with Low Dose Naltrexone? The rhumatologist wants me on it to help with the pain but is allowing my GP to do refills going forwards. She also did bloodwork and a urinalysis. It's funny how both neuro and rhum said that I don't belong with them but then they run tests. #ldn

Well, the rhumatologist says I don't need a rhumatologist. The neurologist is going to call me next week to discuss the MRI results I have already run through ChatGPT and know what I'm going to say when he attempts to push things off as not "bad" enough. Ugh. #chronicillness #chronicpain #nervepain

June 2nd, rhumatologist... The length of what I had to write for the intake documents was crazy! I had to make a note in the email that if they couldn't read anything to let me know! #chronicillness #chronicpain #endometriosis

I thought I was resting. I thought things would get better. But it's not. If I bend wrong, step wrong, stretch wrong, my pelvis, hip and lower back flare up. Some moments it takes my breath away. I just want to get better. But maybe I never will.

My extreme right family is watching content calling Mark Carney an "extreme left prime minister". I don't see it that way as someone on the left. Can some explain? I think they think they are the center... I'm so confused.

Turns out I wasn't registered to vote. But I am now! See you at the pole on April 28th! Or maybe the 21st if I'm feeling up to bringing the required documents too. Watch party anyone? My house. Popcorn provided! #canadianelection #canadian #election #electioncanada #voterregistration

Well, neurologist was a bust. He had dismissed me before I was even in his office. It was a 3 hour drive each way. I prepped all sorts of documents. And my province will pay for his waste of time. #saskatchewan #healthcare #neurologist #pots #chronicillness #chronicpain

The northern lights are guiding us home. Saskatchewan, Canada.

Things are melting slowly. Almost time to start seeds and the incubators with quail.

This is my dream. I am so glad my body held out until we moved here. We just now build everything on the homestead so it is accessible by me too!

My best possible end International Women's day is with this huge band of Northern Lights lighting up the sky as we drive home from shopping and swimming with my hubby and son. I get to watch the sky light up to help disassociate from the pain from walking in the stores.

Happy International Women's Day. Invisible illnesses affect women significantly more often than men. Today I ask only that you recognize the women in your life where they are right now. No matter where that is.
Beautiful article for International Women’s Day about invisible disability.

Are we invisible? Or are we made invisible when people don’t believe us? Don’t validate our experiences?

Many of us hide our disabilities because of rampant ableism, but even when we stop hiding, folks choose not to see us
We aren’t invisible, we are made invisible
It is Women’s International Day on 8th March. Let’s talk about women’s health and how we are made invisible

One of these days we're gonna have to reckon with the fact that "money that I spend which does not directly benefit me is a waste" is a popular sentiment.

I think we should state plainly that this is selfish on its face.

And stupid when you have awareness which extends beyond your nose.
