I have a little book club that's been wonderful (I love you guys!!!) and really enriched my experience of reading Air-Borne, and if you might be interested in a virtual book club/chat, let me know! (I don't want to burn out/overwhelm a single group of people! lol)

I'm stoked for books I plan to read in '26 - some great fiction as well as non-fic on topics like community-building, defending democracy, nature (of course!), urban planning/architecture, systems thinking, Russia, tech & society, history (esp Indigenous history), and a PILE of great memoirs.

If you're in the U.S., I can recommend Thriftbooks and World of Books as well!

Also, if you love a good print version like I do and are trying to shop less at Amazon like I am, Book Outlet is a great place to find used/excess books. This is my referral link which will get both you AND me a $5 reward. ;-> bookoutlet.ca/loyalty/refe...

Hoekstra is now saying that there will be no trade deal if Canada buys the Swedish Gripen fighter jet (to be manufactured in Canada) instead of the US F-35.

On the other hand, Trump talking about a kill switch in the F-35 makes it a national security threat to any country that buys it.
