A fantastic day at Vet Fest at University of Liverpool Vet School, sharing all things research! I had the pleasure of delivering a talk to the public entitled ‘ Galloping ahead: How tiny particles could help big horses stay on track’ 🐎

Fantastic day on Friday at the first Northern EV Network Meeting, hosted at Univeristy of Leeds.

It was great to be involved by co-chairing the first session with Dan Lambert, presenting some of our recent in work in the afternoon session, and helping to facilitate the ECR breakout session.

Really pleased to share that I have been awarded a Distinction for the first module (ADEV700- developing academic practice).

I can’t wait for the second and final module of the PGCAP/FHEA qualification starting in Autumn (ADEV701- scholarly investigation of practice).

Last night we hosted our Companion Animal Involvement Panel at the Univeristy of Liverpool Vet School. We had some fantastic talks and a public panel that were excited, enthusiastic and inquisitive about the work going on, with lots of feedback 🐎🐶🐱

I have had the pleasure of visiting the Karolinska Institute over the last 2 weeks. It has been a fantastic and inspiring experience, made possible by the UKEV society as part of the MOVE consortium.

EuroAgeNet Conference yesterday at the the Spine, Liverpool. Great meeting and had the opportunity to chair a session and present a poster, which I was kindly awarded ‘best ECR poster’ for. Thank you very much to the organisers.

We have had some wonderful visiting researchers in the lab recently! Lovely to meet people from all over the world! 🌍
