Oh, and in other news, the White House now says it was totally surprised by both the federal hiring freeze AND the buyout offer. HA! It's like they didn't even read Project 2025.

We have somehow failed to collectively communicate that support of this man does not make you merely racist-fascist-white supremacist-adjacent. It's time to rectify that. If you disavow these things, it's time to disavow Trump. It's just "common sense."

I want you start peppering your political conversations with words like racist, fascist, authoritarian, billionaire bootlicker, grossly incompetent, white supremacist. Even the reluctant Trump voter can no longer claim they just wanted the tax break and Trump is all bark and no bite.

Some of us really pride ourselves on "not losing friends over politics," not cutting multi-time Trump voters out of your lives, etc, (and I fear I'm talking almost exclusively to white people here) but the glaring failures of the last 10 DAYS are really piling up.

How can anyone excuse the declaration that DEI tactics RESULT in ACTUAL DEATHS and that that is just "common sense?"

How do you assess "government efficiency" by buying thousands of workers out and ushering them out the door by Feb 6 while no one can replace them?

And, as with everything Trump-related, is the cruelty/chaos the point or just a result of total, knuckle-dragging incompetence? And which is worse?

And Trump rounded out the day with a buyout offer to all federal employees. Most federal agencies are also under a 90 day hiring freeze. There is also a 90 day international aid freeze.

How do y'all think this is gonna play out?
