With eggs being so expensive, making them yourself *seemed* like a good idea...
Just make sure that whoever talked you into it is willing to let their cash-cow (er, chicken) go! Otherwise, you might find the bargain extended indefinitely. At least @artbyhornbuckle.bsky.social keeps a nice henhouse

As a newly-made horse on @artbyhornbuckle.bsky.social's farm, sometimes the only distraction from your plight you can find is indulgence in the feed bucket, a coping method that will soon leave you too tubby to keep up with your fellow equines or find a mate... maybe the petting zoo has an opening?
