Dems should rally around Kelly. Veteran, Astronaut, Senator. If this were the 1960s, he'd be on kid's lunch boxes and have an action figure. Speaks well, but would love for him to get training on that storytelling/empathizing way of speaking. Obama, Reagan, JFK. FDR's Four Freedoms delivery style.

was this zoom online somewhere for anyone to go watch now?

Don't get it. They have a bye week. There aren't guys who just came out of college or the UFL that could be brought in for a competition this week?

"It never ends! Now they are trying to say that your favorite President, me, went to Walter Reed Medical Center, having suffered a series of mini-strokes. Never happened to THIS candidate - FAKE NEWS," Trump tweeted." - 2020...... no major outlet had reported that before he posted either.

Correct. Now condense that to a slogan that is memorable and repeatable. "Years Later, Still No Plan" but more clever.

Do you think the moon is made of green cheese? He's going to lie and there is plenty of historical factual data to disprove what he "thinks". Framing the questions needs to be better. If he wants to lie, don't make it so easy.

Feels like they don't understand how IR works this year.
November 10, 2025 at 8:39 PM
A "not anymore" would have been nice. As shallow as it sounds, get Sen. Kelly in training to be a very strong public speaker and the Veteran, Former Astronaut, Husband to Gabby Giffords wouldn't be the easy target some other Dems are, especially by folks who didn't serve.

And if/when those unnamed colleagues on the other side of the aisle don't come through. What will you do, Shaheen? They haven't made any public comments confirming what you're saying is true.
November 10, 2025 at 3:22 PM
Right now they have the "injuries" as a cover. But there are questions why a team led by defensive HC and his #1 guy for years can't have players prepared for crossing patterns. You'd think by now DQ would be hyper focused on the defensive on practice and games.

Don't understand the plan here. How does top minutes and shot attempts by a 34 year old help a 1-9 team filled with guys closer to 20 years old, develop? Only guess is tanking + building trade value for McCollum.
November 9, 2025 at 12:14 PM
that is......not a great answer.
November 6, 2025 at 4:05 PM
What the Cardinals did today is a smart move. Washington should have done it weeks ago with Terry, and right now for JD. Seems that a big weakness is not having a better grasp on the injuries their guys are dealing with. Obviously it's not simple for a med staff and trainers to 100% know.

Crazy idea. Find people who worked at and ran Pizza Hut restaurants 40 years ago to help turn it around. Guessing the quality of ingredients isn't what it used to be when people waited an hour to be seated and it was event dining for a family with kids.

Just running this one back. Maybe should have IR'd him short-term? Hell, with everything that has imploded. Maybe for the rest of the year.
November 3, 2025 at 8:45 PM
If the @housedemocrats.bsky.social and @democrats.senate.gov had living breathing leadership. They'd have ads all over of all the times he said he hasn't seen/read/heard something that everyone else has. Social media, TV, radio, etc.
November 3, 2025 at 3:59 PM
Beyond time to say goodbye to Locks. Even if all his touted recruits decommit and/or transfer. He doesn't win with the guys he brings in. So, what's the different? Look at Cignetti who beat Locks, and his path. Don't worry about what LSU and PSU and whoever does looking for a HC.
November 2, 2025 at 4:29 PM
ok, 4 games. I get that DQ said it's not long-term. But what it has been is....long-term already. My point was if you lock him into missing a month. Then maybe, without feeling rushed by him or even coaches, he'll actually heal enough.
October 30, 2025 at 2:43 PM
Is there a valid reason not to put McLaurin on short-term IR? Seems that he gets just healthy enough to aggravate the same injury again. Take that off the table.
October 30, 2025 at 1:56 PM
Would like to see them run more plays from under center. Both run and pass. When it's short yardage and you're in shotgun, you're giving the defense a split second more time and space to get to the RB before they hit the line. Unless they have an A+ OL, maybe they need to use a HB role too?

And look who's birthday is today.
October 27, 2025 at 11:34 PM
They don't gave a strategic bone in their leadership. No idea how to make an ad like that that is memorable and repeatable. The party of Hollywood elitists are terrible at marketing when they should be able to pump out bumpersticker phrases on the daily.
