Wow, small world...I wrote my first Basic app (Geodetic Coordinates) on a C64. Didn't much care for Flight. Although P3D was enjoyable. 2020 brought me back into the fold again.

I have an opinion, yes, which adds to the discussion, provides insight, and really just makes the world go round. Without one, you’re just empty. You can either agree, disagree or make a better argument… which you’ve done none of. 2/3

OK, I’ll take the bait… You’re a ‘Dreamer’, without a Dream. Obviously, you’ve missed the point of the thread. Or, was that your intention? Do you just wander the BlueSky network seeking out topics you know nothing about? Or, are you just a troll in search of controversy? I really don’t get it. 1/3

OK... how about this...X-Plane (11/or 12) is junk. Don't waste your money. I've tried it on MSW & Linux in both Steam and Native installs. It just does not live up to expectations, and the add-on aircraft are pure 3rd rate, and lack any real fidelity.

I've been a FSX, MSFS, X-Plane user for years and I guarantee the many hundreds of $$ spent far outweighs MSFS 2024... X-Plane can't even come close to the quality or fidelity of either MSFS 2020 or 2024.

So, I'll kick it off.... why in the world is everyone so upset with the pricing model MS has given MSFS 2024. $200 for the Ultimate package seems fair to me given now you don't have to pay Navigraph, or other 3rd party add-ons EVERY year.
