Also, not sure how much it was intentional or not but the hive’s homogenized opinion on creative works and relentless positivity because of its access to all of humanity’s brains seems like a pretty clear critique on large language models (and lines up with Vince Gilligan’s public comments lol)

The gorgeous, mostly dialogue-free cold open that tells so much about this new character; exposition and character-building happening in tandem; and so much just “show, don’t tell” where they don’t dumb things down for the audience. I had high expectations for the show and it continues to impress.
