100 miles? Wow!

It's less a skewed idea than a focused messaging strategy -- label anything that opposes you "far left" or "radical" and turn any words we use to describe ourselves into a derogatory epithet.
I should've said I thought your OP was dead on. (2/2)

Oh, sorry. I was replying to my friend's comment,
»I think they are so acculturated to their community of congress people, lobbyists and rich people that they've skewed their idea of who and what is "left".« (1/2)

The fact that what he does looks idiotic AND continues to work demonstrates where his skills lie. (3/3)

I actually didn't mean to share this. I follow Mark Hamill, and my finger slipped. FWIW, he's one of few activists I follow because he's kind, keeps positive, and doesn't flood my feed with outrage about things I already know in a way that that just burns me out. (1/3)

We even sometimes react just to being called "radical." It's clearly part of a strategy to keep our sense of ourselves on unstable ground.
You may not do this. I don't do this. But the left as a whole falls for it every time. (2/2)
March 18, 2025 at 4:25 PM
I wish we would stop freaking out at that and trying to rename ourselves and/or rebuild our image. (2/2)

Schumer did Trump's work for him, and then he has the gall to go on a book tour about antisemitism? Screw him. (3/3)
March 18, 2025 at 3:40 PM
Haha. I had to go look up the actual end of GG.

But more than that, we're getting our rage on, and for a while it seemed like we couldn't find it. Direct that rage at any figure who deserves it. If ever there were a time for the populace to become a seething, diruptive mass of rage, this is it. (2/2)
March 18, 2025 at 2:58 PM
FWIW, I don't think that smacking Schumer in the face is a Civil War. I think he f'ing deserves it, and that's speaking as someone who gets really frustrated at how the left seems to make a hobby of stabbing itself in the back and eating its own babies. (1/2)

LOL. I can now get 3 copies of your stuff. Gotta think on that.

Yeah. I can load everything except my full feed. It seems like whenever Daniel messes around with the server, it takes a while for the whole thing to come back. Which is a long way of saying that the current outage is probably my fault for encouraging Daniel to install the plugin.
January 29, 2025 at 6:39 PM
@Crys Wolf completely unrelated to your post, Daniel enabled a Dreamwith plugin to Friendica. I can't play with it until I get home, but I thought you might want to look.
January 29, 2025 at 6:00 PM
OK..... So if one were to accept this offer, the advantage would be what? I thought that was crazy long for the defaulter-in-chief to offer as a severance package.
January 29, 2025 at 12:35 PM
Unless, of course, you already have this doing what you want! If so, please share.
January 28, 2025 at 4:50 PM
I'll post my findings when I figure out wtf I'm doing. (2/2)
January 28, 2025 at 4:45 PM
Also, I have no idea. I assume Daniel is playing with it. I picked that time to do some Bluesky integration experiments and confused myself. 🤦‍♀️
January 28, 2025 at 4:27 PM
I wasn't able to post using the Bluesky plugin for about 20 minutes. I'm guessing that's the same time it went dark for you.
January 28, 2025 at 4:27 PM
One thing made it.

Most of us are natural-born citizens, right? The ones at risk are the black or brown ones, or the ones with accents.
Or did you mean naturalized citizen? I.e. someone who immigrated and became a citizen?
(Also, this is a test to see if you see this comment.)

...people to talk to, and folks are spread out among several platforms.

I hope to put together an easy guide for other people to do this.

Now that you've followed the bridge, I think your comments on my posts will also be ported. My experiments with persolo seemed to indicate this.
