People that didn't have a problem don't like feeling invalidated for enjoying something. "If you say it's bad, I'm bad for liking it".

I used a Vita in my early college days, so I'm kind nostalgic for it. It still works, so if I turn it on, it's got all the music I listened to at the time.

Ultimately, things are still subjective. Just because you are correct about an issue doesn't mean I enjoyed the game less. Criticism is important for the game manufacturers, not really for the consumer in this situation.

Don't have it yet because I have too much on my plate atm. I'm a bow and dual blade main though. Bow was a lot of fun in Rise.

My most railroad DM just wanted us to act out a modern day version of Fire Emblem 3 Houses cuz he was a diehard fan of it. Thing died after the timeskip cuz we didn't feel bad fighting our previous classmates.

Beyond the whole "our brains focus more on the negative than the positive" nitpicking makes it easier to have a long, extensive list of faults whole discussing positives in the same way comes off as gushing (bad).
