Because 3M is run by a bunch of profit-driven corporate vampires who don't care who they harm as long as they deliver profits. See also Dupont. And Corporate America more generally. But as the planet burns shareholders can die happily, knowing their bank accounts are full of money they'll never use.

And English as the US’s official language, despite Americo Vespucci having been an Italian cartographer. Was that signed at Mar-a-Lago or on the shores of the Potomac? Potomac is the First Nations name for the river if anyone is keeping track.

Yes, I don’t think we really want to know the answer to that question. It’s not even a majority of Americans that are worrying, but the office of the presidency does not require majority support.
We moved out of the US in 2005 because the question was answered for us in 2004.
