I agree that the cup has brought energy and effort in that early part of the season, but it definitely drops off after that. Obv there are guys who compete hard every night, but there are a lot who def don't. Things usually pick up after all star, but then you also have tanking.

I went to a Nets game a few years ago w KD, Kyrie, and Harden and tix were $$. Harden pouted and didn't wanna go back into the game, Kyrie couldn't play, KD tried most of the 1st half before packing it up sometime in the 3rd. It was shameful and I was pissed, so I know kids and families were sad af

I actually agree with some of what KD is saying, but he's conveniently leaving out why fans complain about the actual game(s) - Effort. Guys just aren't trying as hard every night, and yes it's a long season but fans are paying more and more $ to go to games or League Pass to watch guys phone it in
